Security Officer Unarmed Relief

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Relief in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting observations through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries at designated access points, verifying credentials and following post orders for visitor, contractor, and shipment-related activity.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
