About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, loading, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery traffic at entry and exit points, following post orders for screening, credential checks, and related documentation.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged property or policy violations, and communicating professionally with site personnel and the public.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
