Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Jackson, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report activity, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
• Observe and report potentially hazardous conditions, equipment concerns, and unusual activity to designated site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
