As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Route Monitoring in White Plains, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions to hospital departments.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
