Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol Response

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol Response in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
