About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Lincoln, NE, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs of entries, exits, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment issues, property damage, and policy violations in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
