About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Response in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing guests and reporting unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to campus representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
