Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned security-related duties within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor traffic, and reporting policy concerns through appropriate channels.
• Support emergency response activities and business operations by following post orders, providing clear directions during incidents, and completing required reports before the end of each shift.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
