As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Duty in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming atmosphere, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist tenants and visitors, and deliver strong communication and customer service while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or property-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, lobbies, loading areas, and other key locations, assisting with visitor access, observing daily activity, and reporting unusual behavior, hazards, and/or rule violations according to site procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
