Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver
About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Pryor, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized personnel and visitors, and reporting suspicious activity to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Weekly Pay
Job Schedule: DayTime, Monday through Friday, 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
