About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Associate in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Support daily operations by assisting with visitor direction, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following Allied Universal standards for professionalism and communication.
Requirements
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Skills
- Customer service skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Patrol and monitoring experience.
- First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Access control and badge experience (preferred).
