About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Associate in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with visitor direction, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following Allied Universal standards for professionalism and communication.

Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Skills

  • Customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Patrol and monitoring experience.
  • First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  • Access control and badge experience (preferred).
