Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
• Complete routine logs, incident documentation, and shift reports related to daily activities, patrol findings, and/or security-related events at the location.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
