What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed by site policies, and report access concerns or policy violations.
- Support facility operations by observing loading, shipping, and/or receiving areas, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with orderly response during site emergencies.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
