About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Wendell, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe foot traffic, and assist with directing visitors and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures.
• Support loss prevention awareness by documenting unusual activity, addressing policy-related issues when appropriate, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
