As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Assurance in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with customers, staff, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Schedule

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other suspicious activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
