Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol Access

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Moncks Corner, SC, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, distribution, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
