Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and visitor movement in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and other security‑related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and security‑related operational concerns.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.87 per hour (Full‑time position)

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
