About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential property, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to concerns, document observations, and provide professional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, residents, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site protocols.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
