About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining accurate activity logs and records.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
