Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Guard

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate contact.
• Support Allied Universal standards by following post orders, communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders, and assisting with daily security-related operations at the location.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations.
