As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Big Island, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with attention to unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support order at the location by observing site operations, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and helping to deter disruptions to daily business activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
