About the role

As an Access Control Security Professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will use communication and customer service skills to help address security-related concerns while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify visitor and driver credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as directed, helping to deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement through the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
