As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR certification is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
