Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a driving role at a manufacturing and industrial location in Orovada, NV, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This position requires a valid driver’s license and involves providing exceptional customer service, professional communication, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal’s culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of activities and incidents.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• Guard card or license preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.

$25.00 per hour.
