About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Alarm Panel in Columbia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide welcoming customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.

$17.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
