About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location in Waynesboro, VA as an unarmed patrol professional. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will bring a reliable and innovative approach to every shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with location protocols, and report concerns through proper channels.
• Support access control, incident reporting, and general security-related operations within a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where working conditions may vary by site.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$23.69 / hour

• Part Time
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
