About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building entrances, loading areas, and perimeter zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support day-to-day operations at a logistics and distribution location by helping to deter disruptions, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following post orders for access control and incident reporting.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
