Security Officer - Truck Gate

About the role

As a Security Officer, you will actively monitor premises, patrol a variety of locations, preserve order, enforce site regulations, and frequently provide customer service and information to employees and visitors. No prior security experience is required. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds are a great fit; we provide comprehensive training for a successful start in the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Must meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; may involve climbing stairs, walking on inclines and uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting/moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds
