Security Officer - Truck Gate

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Truck Gate Security Officer to build meaningful connections and provide exceptional customer service in a truck gate post.

About the role

As a Security Officer – Truck Gate, you will work with people across all shifts in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers, with a strong focus on customer service.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.00 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week (split shift):

• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday & Sunday
• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wednesday - Thursday

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access at the truck gate
• Verify driver identification, credentials, and delivery paperwork
• Log all inbound and outbound truck activity accurately
• Inspect vehicles, trailers, and seals for security compliance
• Enforce site rules, procedures, and traffic flow requirements
• Communicate with drivers, site personnel, and supervision
• Monitor gate security systems and report incidents or irregularities
• Maintain a safe, secure, and professional gate environment

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• State license if required

Qualifications

• Truck Gate / Guard Shack experience preferred
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
