Security Officer - Truck Gate

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet people, handle vendors, and check IDs.
• Observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols.
• Focus on truck gates, checking incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Write detailed reports.
• Work with computers and other electronic tools.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

• High school/GED diploma or transcripts in hand.
• Valid PILB in hand.
• Accomplish and pass an extensive screening process.
• At least 2 years' experience in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 1 year with truck gate experience.
• Physical stamina to be on your feet and handle the weather throughout your shift, as needed.
• Excellent people skills.
• Proficient at working with electronics, computers, phones, alarm systems, and other hi-tech tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Outstanding work ethic.
• Ambitious with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Set schedule: 40-hour work week.
Grave: 11pm to 7am
Wednesday to Sunday.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $22 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!).
