About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor check-in protocols, and/or other security-related policies appropriate for a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access activity, incidents, and/or daily operations while following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
