Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, packages, shipments, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or restricted items in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with duties and working conditions that may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
