As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and assisting with visitor and employee flow. You will remain attentive, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service while helping identify and report security-related concerns. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and belongings in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and perform visual inspections to identify prohibited items, unauthorized materials, and other potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
