Security Officer - Swing Shift
About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Unit in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site policies and client expectations.
- Aid with incident reporting, policy enforcement, and communication during operational disruptions, deliveries, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
