Security Officer - Surveillance & Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar settings. The role demands a sharp eye for detail as you scan multiple screens, strong observation skills, and the ability to capture every detail.

Schedule

Part-time, Days, Monday & Wednesday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $19.50/hr (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license if required
