About the Role

As a Security Officer Supply Warehouse in Bohemia, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial environments. This part‑time, unarmed patrol position involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and delivering professional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site‑specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activities, incidents, access control, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.07 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Tuesday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
