Security Officer - STMLS Nightlife

About the role

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. It offers a $1.5 billion expansion with new offerings like the Guitar Hotel, Oasis Tower, and Hard Rock Live entertainment venue.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic security coverage for the safety of patrons and team members.
• Safeguard the assets of the organization and guests.
• Promote a friendly, guest-oriented demeanor.
• Ensure security during money transfers within the casino and hotel areas.
• Assist patrons with inquiries and situations, including providing information and directions.
• Prepare detailed incident reports.
• Patrol hotel and casino areas to establish a security presence.
• Report unusual situations and suspicious persons.
• Coordinate and resolve emergency situations.
• Maintain proper key control.
• Demonstrate commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service.
• Notify managers and the Ethics Hotline of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one (1) year of comparable experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year of customer service experience required.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience highly preferred.

Skills

• Effective communication skills, specifically for the position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environment.
• Knowledge of responsible gaming and alcohol service.
