About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location in Nashville, TN, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through professionalism, sound judgment, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
