Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required as a condition of employment (in accordance with federal, state, and local laws).
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment (to the extent permitted by law).
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
