About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a vibrant retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers, tenants, and visitors through exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time / Swing Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail areas, parking lots, common spaces, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations, completing clear and accurate incident documentation.
• Assist with emergency response activities, access control, and coordination with property management and/or local authorities when appropriate.

Requirements

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sunday: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM
