Security Officer Senior Residential

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a shelter location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe daily activity within the location to help to support orderly operations, document incidents, and communicate security-related information with residents, guests, and/or staff.
• Complete routine reports and maintain detailed activity logs related to patrols, incidents, policy concerns, and/or emergency events in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
