As a Security Officer Security Desk in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location. In this primarily stationary role, you will assist with access control, visitor interactions, and communication around security-related matters while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and security-related policies.
• Monitor access at the front desk by verifying credentials, directing guests, managing visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 08:00 PM
