Security Officer - Security Clearance Emergency Response

About the role

As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Manassas, VA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help support a professional environment through routine observations, access-related responsibilities, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter, as permitted by site procedures.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and facility conditions to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$25.74 / hour

• Wednesday: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
