Security Officer - Security

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls and emergency codes, enforcing facility rules, conducting investigations, reporting safety issues, and assisting customers.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas of the facility
• Respond to all calls and emergency codes immediately
• Enforce facility rules and regulations
• Conduct investigations and report findings to managers
• Inform the Director of safety issues
• Ensure the functioning of radios, vehicles, and life safety equipment
• Assist customers and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Valid Pennsylvania state driver's license
• Minimum of six (6) months police or security experience preferred

Qualifications

• Graduate of police academy or security course preferred
