About the role
The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls and emergency codes, enforcing facility rules, conducting investigations, reporting safety issues, and assisting customers.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas of the facility
- Respond to all calls and emergency codes immediately
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Conduct investigations and report findings to managers
- Inform the Director of safety issues
- Ensure the functioning of radios, vehicles, and life safety equipment
- Assist customers and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Valid Pennsylvania state driver's license
- Minimum of six (6) months police or security experience preferred
Qualifications
- Graduate of police academy or security course preferred
