As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a technology-focused location, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, document activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Day Time: Saturday 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sunday 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
- Help support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
