Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and following Allied Universal standards and location-specific expectations.

Requirements

• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
