Security Officer - Rover Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an unarmed patrol professional, helping monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, and support follow-up actions in alignment with Allied Universal and site expectations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
