Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity, and assist with visitor directions and tenant interactions while following post orders and property protocols.
- Support property operations by communicating maintenance-related or life-related issues noticed during patrols, such as unsecured doors, lighting concerns, and/or suspicious conditions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
