DayTime Sat 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the shelter location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, logging visitor activity, and reporting unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives during shift changes.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
