As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting residents and visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence, professional communication, and commitment to exceptional service will help deter incidents while supporting a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and access-control activities accurately and provide clear reports to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule: Friday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
